Jeremiah Krieger is passionate about healing, and this passion drives him in all areas of his life. A dedicated father of four and a busy Chinese medicine practitioner, his philosophy is to help his patients lead a balanced, healthy life and experience radiant health.

 

Physicians trust Jeremiah Krieger and he is known as a doctor’s doctor. In fact, he treats numerous MDs — many of whom actively refer to him. Jeremiah is known for an inclusive, balanced and smart approach to medical collaboration. He also treats other leading acupuncturists, chiropractors, trainers, psychotherapists and healers. Jeremiah’s expert care has been enjoyed by a large number of influential and famous people including Fortune 500 CEOs, Emmy-winning producers and actors, members of top rock bands, writers and directors, supermodels, university presidents, museum heads, CEOs, CFOs and legal groups. He values the privacy and confidentiality of every client highly.

 

Jeremiah studied Chinese medicine at Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2003. He completed advanced training and medical rotations at UCLA’s Arthur Ashe Medical Center and was the first acupuncturist ever invited to join Tower ID — the leading internal medicine and infectious disease practice at Cedar Sinai Medical Center. He is a National Diplomate in Acupuncture and is licensed to practice Traditional Oriental Medicine & Acupuncture in the State of California. 

 

Jeremiah had the good fortune to train with renowned Chinese Medicine practitioners like the late Dr. Shen, the late Dr. Worsley, Dr. Gu, Dr. Maciocia, Master Herbalist Ron Teegaurden and the late Master Share Lew. He also studied at Shandong University in China, concentrating on Chinese history, philosophy and medicine. He is a Senior Tonic Herbalist.

 

In addition, he has done post-graduate work in Classical Five Element acupuncture. He completed an externship in Addiction Medicine at Cri-Help, recognized as one of the top recovery facilities in the world. Jeremiah also worked as part of an East-West medical team at the Los Angeles Free Clinic.

 

He is a frequent speaker on Chinese medicine for such audiences as Paramount Studios, the National Alliance for Mental Illness, Safe Harbor and Golden Bridge Yoga, to name a few. He has studied and taught Chinese Yoga, Chi Kung, and philosophy for over 20 years.

Robert Newman, LAc. | Acupuncture & Herbology

Over the course of more than 30 years, Robert Newman has been studying and utilizing numerous methods to work with patients, including acupuncture, acupressure, massage, eastern herbs, western herbs, flower essences, shamanism, homeopathy, diet and nutrition. He is a specialist in Chinese herbal medicine. In 1989, he obtained his Bachelors of Science degree from UC Irvine in pre-med biology and
then went on to obtain his Masters degree in 1992 in traditional Chinese
medicine (TCM) from American College of TCM and his California state acupuncture license in 1993. He also spent a year studying Plant Spirit Medicine with Eliot Cowan. 

Robert has taught and lectured about wholistic medicine and Chinese medicine at San Francisco State University, California Healing Arts College, Emperor’s College of TOM, Yo San University of TCM and the Whole Life Expo. Robert was a staff acupuncturist, clinic supervisor and teacher at ACTCM for 4 years and a staff acupuncturist at Tarzana Medical Center for 3 years. Additionally, he created and developed the Chinese herb garden for five and a half years at ACTCM and spent one and a half years as the curator of the Chinese herb garden at the Nanjing Institute of Botany in China. 

Robert is a consultant to a number of cultivators of Chinese herbs in the
U.S. and an herb formula consultant for the patients of several practitioners. He was a clinic supervisor at Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica for 5 years, he has been an instructor there for over 8 years, and has been Emperor’s clinic director since 2005. Robert is currently the advisor for the Chinese herb section of the community garden project, known as “The Learning Garden,” at Venice High School in Venice, California. He also periodically arranges and leads educational herb tours to China and maintains a part-time private practice in the northern San Fernando Valley and in Los Angeles.
